Action Components

We are proud to announce that the new trial version of our Action Components suite for Xamarin and Visual Studio is now available for downloading. This version has been modernized and brought up-to-date with the latest versions of Android and iOS.

The most significant changes are moving all of the components to the single ActionComponents namespace. This makes it easier to include the components in an Android or iOS mobile app.

Additionally, all of the components have been renamed to both shorten the individual element names and remove any possible conflicts with built-in library and framework items in Android and iOS. For the most part, the naming prefix of UIAction has been replaced with AC (for Action Components). For example, UIActionAlert is now called ACAlert.

We are current in the process of updating all of our online documentation and sample apps (coming soon) to support this new format. For an example, check out the Action Alert docs, which have already been updated. All of our API documentation is current and up-to-date with the new format.

This free trial is fully functional, but watermarked with Toast styled popups. Purchasing a license will remove these popups. While not currently available for purchase, we hope to have our online store open soon. Until then enjoy exploring the trial and let us know if you have any questions or comments.

The trail can be downloaded from the Action Components Products page.

Enjoy!
